Mercury Retrogade Starts Tomorrow

Twenty-six days of enforced holiday!

And now a quote on leisure from a Taurus (who ought to know):

“The thing that I should wish to obtain from money would be leisure
with security.”
Bertrand Russell (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto in Taurus)

See you after June 2nd, when I'll be less fimble-fungered (which is what I called "fumble-fingered" during a previous Mercury retrograde).

The Cosmic Good News/Bad News Joke

The good news: On May 27th, Jupiter will be conjunct Neptune. This will be felt most keenly by those born from the 15th to 17th of any month, as follows:

Aries: Just in case you were thinking of giving up on writing, a friend's praise turns the tide. Give up? Fuhgeddaboutit!
Taurus: A professional break from someone who hardly knows you.
Gemini: Possible publication now, if only a short piece, a filler.
Cancer: Some relief from debt, or the successful evasion of somebody trying to get money from you.
Leo: Your promotional ideas can win over an undecided agent or editor.
Virgo: A meal with someone who knows the trade more than you do but who values your technical expertise. Consider collaboration.
Libra: Brainstorm as much as possible -- free-associate without judging.
Scorpio: You'll get most of your ideas by spreading out your paperwork and source materials, then recombining them. Chuck a lot of stuff to make room for your newest interests.
Sagittarius: Tune out distractions and speed-write. You won't know what you think until you see what you've written, just as you often don't know what you think 'til you hear what you've said.
Capricorn: Find out about technological assistance but don't commit. Not yet.
Aquarius: If you just drink or catch up on sleep, you're wasting this mother-lode of inspiration. When you do permit yourself to sleep, remember your dreams.
Pisces: You have lots of experience with valuing dream clues. Reread past dream journals that will probably make more sense now.

That was the good news. The bad news? It occurs during the Mercury-retrograde period, so do the work but don't yet send it out.
